Whew, I have been lax on my posting! Sorry about that! Let's see all of our evaluations are done and now it is time to critique. I feel like I have done a lot of that lately. We also started learning a new piece for performance tech. It was slightly intimidating to hear that once you think you have it, you don't! It just means there are a whole lot of details and always farther to explore. We have to step into the painting with the backdrop of Chopin's music. Challenge, here we come!
So this week I thought it was going to be an easy week before spring break and it is, but then I started realizing all the assignments that somehow seemed to pile up. One of which is my paper for Educational Psychology. We have to have about 9 sources, my topic is the affect of gender specific classrooms on students. Yes, i did find a whole book on the topic, actually there are quite a few. Our library however only had one. So I hopped over, checked it out, there was no wait or hold on it. Even though, I find educational topics such as this one very enlightening and wish I had more time to read them, it seems others, don't care so much. Hey, at least it means I am in the right major. I got a little nervous though because it was around the fiction section and well, I just love to read. Thankfully I resisted, plus I'm reading a very intense book by Ted Decker called Blink of an Eye.
I have determined that I should probably invest in an umbrella. Walking on campus today I ended up getting soaked, twice. I even did a nice mud number on my ankle. At least I know summer is coming!
Dancing at the Oscars was amazing! If you missed it, you have to watch it! It was neat because though I'm not nearly as good as they are, I'm starting to understand what it takes and how auditions work. After all I'm at a school that kinda specializes in that sort of thing!
After completing our capstone project, a look at the worldviews found in the tv show House, we had a House party. Now this isn't your typical House party; it was complete with Season 4 of House, brownies, chips and dip, and soda! Good times. We got confused when communicating a few times as we thought somebody had actually bought a house what with all the moving off campus. Celebrating our 97, was so worth it!
There are also many new movies coming out that I would love to see!
Our Family Wedding
Ghost Writer
When in Rome
Letters to God
The Exploding Girl
Preacher's Kid
The Last Song (yes it's Miley Cirus)
Dear John (I know it's a tear jerker but I kinda want to read the book)
P.S. finally starting to get into my homework and this is what I read: "Gregory Samsa woke from uneasy dreams one morning to find himself changed into a giant bug."-Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis
P.P.S. Got any good movie suggestions?
